the underrated key to our healing

active, passive and neutral time.

we need it all in order to move the needle forward in life in any capacity.

active time would be time outputting — literally doing the work to create and bring forth, or studying, or preparing.

passive time is spent simply taking something in. this could be listening to a podcast or an audiobook, or watching tv.

neutral time is likely the most challenging to come by for many of us. this is the time spent doing, well, nothing. this is the time sitting with yourself, with your breath, holding space for curiosity to see just what may come through.

we notice that the lack of neutral time is taking a toll on our ability to recuperate, as our society exists primarily in season of output as opposed to one that honors the natural ebbs and flows of our cycles as humans (and especially as women).

if you’ve been seeking permission to slow things down, to put down the tech, to hold off on creating for a moment, consider this your ticket.

how can you create more neutral time in your day?

your healing depends upon it.
